Firstly you need to browse the site and add items to your shopping basket.
We require you to sign up using your email address so that we can track your order in the system and you receive notification about your order being processed.
If you have previously signed up on our Australian Early Learning Centre (www.elctoys.com.au) or Kids Central websites you will need to be issued with a new password to log onto New Zealand.
All purchases will be able to be viewed from your account details login.If you join as a member your address details are saved so you will not need to type them in again at your next purchase.
All these details are password protected.
Should you choose to become a member you will also receive our monthly e-newsletter that gives you special offers, latest product information & articles on child development. We will also mail out new catalogues. Your details will not be forwarded to any other companies for marketing purposes, unless it was specifically stated at the time of sign-up. In this case we may share your details only with the company that was part of the promotion.
There are 4 main steps in the checkout & payment process.
1.Shopping Basket
From your shopping basket click CONTINUE CHECKOUT. This will take you to the next step.
If you are sending this to someone else you can add a short message to be sent with your gift.
2. Shipping Options
Add your details and also the shipping details if you are not receiving the goods.
If you are a member you can select from the saved address options. An email and phone contact is really important in case we need to confirm a delivery.
Remember we can only deliver items to addresses within New Zealand. International customers can order online and have the items sent to relatives and friends within NEW ZEALAND.

You can pay with credit cards issued in the UK or Australia, all charges will be in NZ dollars. Your credit card company may apply some conversion charges.
For delivery in Australia please go to our Kids Central or ELC websites in Australia - www.kidscentral.com.au . Additional baby gifts & children's gifts are also available in our Baby category at www.kidscentral.com.au.
Once all the address & shippings details are added click the button CONTINUE TO PAYMENT.
3. Payment Info
This page asks you to confirm that you are paying by credit card. The TOTAL - including any delivery charge - will be the amount charged to your credit card in NZ dollars.
This is a secure site we have a Digital SSL certificate issued by Comodo. In a nutshell this encrypts the data moving between our site and the banks credit card processing facility.
Credit card processing
Credit card processing is carried out by the ANZ eGate Service. We accept Mastercard &Visa.
Transactions can be processed on cards issued outside of Australia & NZ. To find out more about ANZ eGate Service click here.

Our standard delivery charges are divided into 3 delivery zones - charges apply to your total order.
1. Auckland wide $15
2. Rest of North Island other than Auckland $25
3. South Island $35
This will be automatically calculated from your postcode.
Additional charges on top of our standard charge apply for some large & heavy product this is shown in the details page for each product.
Now and again large deliveries to remote locations may require a higher delivery fee - one of our Direct Sales staff will give you a call.
Deliveries are via NZ Post parcel delivery or courier.
Orders will be dispatched from Auckland within 1-2 days of your order. We cannot dispatch Saturday, Sunday or Public Holidays.
Allow 5 working days, however Auckland & most North Island deliveries will be much faster than this. Unfortunately we can't give you a guaranteed delivery time.
4. Order Confirmation
This page asks you to confirm the total charges, including the delivery charge that will be added to your credit card.
Once you are happy submit your details by clicking once the text - PLACE ORDER
It might take a few seconds to process. All credit card details are then handled by the bank, ELC toys does not hold any credit card details from online shoppers.
Your order can be stopped or altered by you at any point up until you have submitted your credit card details.
Of course if there is a problem email our Customer Service Staff and we will sort it out for you..
5. Order Completed
A receipt is then emailed to you.
Note down the order number and customer id. that is on the screen, it will help with any enquiries.
